Adimali: Complaint that the young man assaulted the SI and his team who came to investigate the complaint regarding a family problem. The accused is under arrest. Adimali SI KM Santosh was beaten up. He was admitted to Taluk Hospital. Last night, the police arrested Eldos Paili (38) of Mannankala Olikal, who attacked the SI.

The incident took place yesterday evening around 7 o’clock. The police reached Mannamkala on the basis of a complaint of a family dispute. As part of the case investigation, the police reached the house of Kutai’s friend. Kutai, who was present at the time, tried to save his friend and misled the police. The police said that he then tore his uniform and beat him up.

Later, more police arrived and arrested Kutai. The police said that he has been accused in criminal cases earlier. The police also said that Kutai used to go to the house where there were frequent fights and went drinking with his friend. The accused will be produced in Adimali First Class Magistrate Court today.
