The Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center in Al-Ahsa began its new year 2024 AD with its first training programs that would develop and improve the quality of services provided to beneficiaries of people with disabilities, in cooperation with the Mental Health Hospital by implementing an awareness-raising training workshop entitled (How to recognize cases of agitation and deal with them) under the general supervision of the center director. It targeted the center’s employees, including the medical staff, the social department, and caregivers. Through it, Dr. Mansour Al-Naim spoke on several basic topics, including: – Defining agitation and how to differentiate between it and violence and crime. Completing the conversation by mentioning the risk factors that lead to agitation and how to expect agitation and its organic and psychological causes. Evaluating the state of agitation.

In conclusion, the center’s management extended its sincere thanks and appreciation to the hospital administration for cooperating in coordinating the program and to the lecturer for the distinguished proposal and this program will be completed in the coming days, God willing, in order to ensure the delivery of sound information to all workers to ensure the provision of better services to the category of people with disabilities and to understand their psychology and how to deal with them in the proper way.
