Telecom operator MTS will launch a service that will allow computer owners to earn money by renting out computer capacities to gamers. A representative of the company told Vedomosti about this. At the same time, the operator himself plans to earn on the commission that he will take from users.
In the summer, MTS launched a Remote Play service for gamers, which allows you to remotely use the power of personal computers of various users. To use such a solution, the owner of a powerful PC must transfer access to its capacities via a special link. The new service is called Fog Play and allows you to make money on such leasing of capacities. Using the new service, users can rent a computer of the required power from other users of the platform and run “heavy” games with a high level of signal delay requirements on various gadgets, including smartphones, TVs, as well as PCs of lower power, a company representative explains.
