Aamir Khan starrer ‘Lal Singh Chadha’ recently faced a boycott campaign. Hashtags appeared on Twitter saying ‘Boycott Lal Sigum Chadha’. Now another hashtag is circulating on Twitter. But it has supported Shah Rukh Khan.
The hashtag is in support of Shah Rukh Khan’s new film ‘Pathan’. The hashtag ‘Pathan First Day First Show’ is trending on Twitter. The fans have already come forward to support the boycott campaign against Shah Rukh’s film as well. Shah Rukh’s film ‘Pathan’ will be released on January 25, 2023.
Siddharth Anand is the director of ‘Pathan’. ‘Pathan’ is a highly anticipated film for Shahrukh Khan. BollywoodLife reported that the OTT streaming rights of Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan have been sold for a huge amount. Released in 2018, ‘Zero’ was a massive failure. ‘Shah Rukh is aiming for a big comeback with Pathan.
Being an action thriller film, it is expected that ‘Pathan’ will get shouts for Shah Rukh Khan in the theaters like in the past. Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia, Shaji Chaudhary, Gautham, Ashutosh Rana and many other stars are acting in the film. Amazon Prime Video owns the digital rights of ‘Pathan’, which has been announced as a theatrical release. Bollywoodlife reports that Amazon has acquired the digital rights of Shahrukh’s film for Rs 200 crore. There is no official confirmation in this regard yet.
The teaser was released earlier announcing the release of ‘Patha’. Deepika Padukone and John Abraham introduced ‘Pathan’ in the teaser. In the teaser, Shah Rukh Khan could be seen walking without revealing his face while both say that his goal is to protect his own country. ‘I know it’s a little late. But remember the date. Shahrukh Khan shared the teaser and wrote, “See you in theaters on January 25, 2023”. Earlier, Deepika and Shahrukh have acted together in films like ‘Om Shanti Om’, ‘Chennai Express’ and ‘Happy New Year’.
