During the concert, favorite Polish hits will be played, well-known Polish bands and singers will perform, including: Maryla Rodowicz, Czerwony Gitary, Blue Cafe, Kamil Bednarek, De Mono, Feel, Pectus, Golec Orkiestra, Łukasz Drapała, Ewelina Gancewska, Doda. The organizers also took care of spectacular scenery, visual effects and great dance routines. The concert will be hosted by viewers’ favorites and well-known TV personalities: Aleksander Sikora and Ida Nowakowska, and presenters of TVP Vilnius: Agata Dorodko and Aldona Połońska. The concert will be directed by Tomasz Motyl.
The musical spectacle at the Town Hall Square will start on Tuesday, May 2 at 19:00.

The Day of the Polish Diaspora and Poles Abroad has been celebrated since 2002. The national holiday was established by the Sejm of the Republic of Poland on the initiative of the Senate of the Republic of Poland. In this way, people living outside Poland who fought for Polish independence and expressed their attachment to the Republic of Poland were honored. According to the data of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, about 20 million people of Polish descent live outside Poland. These are people who left the country or were born outside Poland, but feel Polish origin and ties to Polishness: descendants of 19th-century emigrants and refugees fleeing wars, successive generations of former Polish citizens who remained in the East, former dissidents from families and economic migrants.

On May 2, the Flag Day of the Republic of Poland is also celebrated. On this day, the official opening of the new headquarters of TVP Vilnius will also take place in the added wing of the Polish Cultural Center in Vilnius. It is the first branch of Telewizja Polska outside the country.
