The Dodecanese MP candidate Eleftheria Ftaklakis, in her condolence message for the loss of hotelier Makis Intzas, states:
I express my deepest sorrow for the great loss of Makis Intzas, which shocks the society of Rhodes. A particularly noble and beloved man, a hotelier with a huge contribution to the tourism industry, who leaves an indelible mark on entrepreneurship, always active and visionary, with great love for our country, who “left” so early in life.
He served the Tourism industry with dedication and consistency for decades, with a great contribution to Greek Tourism, contributing to the tourism development of Rhodes.
He will be remembered for his fighting spirit, integrity and morals. My sincere condolences to his family, his two children, relatives and friends of the deceased. Let the soil of the Rhodian land that will cover him be light.
