The alpinist and high mountain guide Ferran Latorre delivered a conference yesterday All Transmission, from Bescanó, on the occasion of the company’s 15-year history. Latorre, who was the first Catalan mountaineer to climb the fourteen peaks of more than 8,000 meters in the Planet, he emphasized that climbing has a “symbolic force that excites you when you are in the treasure of the summit because you are aware that so few can reach it”. “Apart from self-realization, the peaks are like an effect calling to the unknown”, explained Latorre in front of thirty attendees, who highlighted the territory of Catalonia «because we have a very good heritage for being climbers, since it is one of the best places in the world».
