The board of directors of Confidence Cement, a listed company in the cement sector, has announced a 10 percent dividend for shareholders. Its all cash dividends. Shareholders will get cash dividend of 1 taka against every 10 taka worth of shares.
The board of directors of the company has announced this dividend after reviewing the audited financial report for the financial year ended on June 30, 2024.
On Tuesday (September 10), Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange (DSE-CSE) said this information.
The decision regarding the dividend was taken after reviewing and approving the audited financial report of the last financial year in the meeting of the company’s board of directors held earlier on Monday (September 9).
The annual general meeting (AGM) of the company will be held on October 23 to approve the dividend declared by the shareholders. And the record date for the shareholders’ election is set for September 30.
The company’s earnings per share (EPS) for the financial year ended June 30, 2024 stood at Tk 8.73. The profit per share of the company was Rs 3.15 in the corresponding period of the previous financial year. Net asset value per share (NAVPS) of the company stood at Tk 74.75 during the reporting period.
In view of this corporate announcement, there will be no price limit for the trading of shares of the company on this day.
