Confidence cements weekly price decline on DSE

Among the companies and mutual funds that participated in the trading in Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the main capital market of the country, the share price of Confidence Cement Limited, listed in the cement sector, fell the most.

Confidence cements weekly price decline on DSE

The company’s shares topped DSE’s weekly price decliners list as investor interest waned. This information was revealed on the basis of DSE’s weekly market review on Saturday (September 14).

According to the data, the share price of the company fell by 18.69 percent in the outgoing week. The closing price of the company’s shares was Rs 84.69 in the previous week. And at the end of the farewell week, the closing price of the company’s shares stood at Tk 68.30. As a result, the company’s shares topped DSE’s weekly price decliners list.

Among the other top gainers on the weekly DSE were Rupali Life Insurance 15.38 per cent, Khulna Power 13.92 per cent, Intraco 13.87 per cent, Hami Industries 13.19 per cent, Golden Jubilee Mutual Fund 12.84 per cent, Mithun Shares of Knitting 12.71 percent, Capitec Grameen Bank Growth Fund 11.97 percent, Grameen Two Scheme Fund 11.56 percent and Alltex Industries 10.74 percent fell.
