Confusam assured that ethical shifts will be maintained in the establishments for the delivery of milk, medicines and serious cases of patients.

Primary health workers grouped in Confusam began their 48-hour national strike this Wednesdayensuring that it had 92% adherence.

The organization explained that the decision to carry out the strike responds to the lack of response to labor demands, incentives to retire and attacks on the safety of its workers. The strike will continue this Thursday with a march through Alameda, starting at 11:00 a.m.

“We are ending the first day of strike at the national level, the adhesion was over 92% at the country level. We had marches in many regional capitals of the country and that gives us the support to once again call the attention of the Government to fulfill the outstanding debts that it has with primary care workers,” said the president of Confusam, Gabriela Flores.

Flores pointed out that they hope that “Justice is done with our colleagues who are waiting for the resources from the retirement incentive to reach them, to change the User Treatment law and so that the final ranking of Difficult Performance will be published soon.”

Asked about the measurements of the Ministry of Health, which assured that only 57% of primary health workers joined the strike, Flores assures that this is incorrect information and that “the truth is that the Government, the Minsal, are more wrong than ever.”
