Confusion over postponement of shutdown of doctors

However, the agitating doctors say that the authorities informed the media about the suspension of the program without concluding discussions with them.

The spokesperson of the agitating doctors Dr. Abdul Ahad said, we will not return to work until we provide as many security personnel as the number of doctors who will perform duty in DM. And I will not return to routine work if the doctor’s protection law is not passed in the next seven days.

Earlier, on Sunday (September 1) around 6:30 pm, DMK director Brigadier General Asaduzzaman said that doctors will start emergency medical services. We have taken adequate measures for their security. Doctors will provide full medical care immediately after arrest or arrest of those involved in beatings. For the time being, emergency medical services are starting from now.

When asked whether the doctors have withdrawn the complete shutdown program or not, he said, there is no more complete shutdown. Doctors have moved away from it. They are now launching emergency services. The health advisor gave them the assurance they wanted. Army, BGB, police and civilian Ansar members will perform security duties. Security will be ensured by combining four forces. In the ward, patients who are admitted in the ICU will continue to receive treatment. Apart from this, casualty, neuro surgery and emergency departments are being opened.
