GOMA – Despite the difficult situation and the socio-economic crisis in eastern DRC, young people remain resilient. ETRAMeducation, a structure for young people trained in civil engineering, aims to train young people working in the field of construction who do not have access to certain architecture and civil engineering software to enable them to enter a technological world.

It is in this context that EtramConstruction, a Congolese company, launched an accelerated training course for the benefit of 15 young university graduates and professionals. “For this first promotion we have trained 15 young people from different universities and others who are already professionals; 14 have been patented,” EtramConstruction executive director Bonheur Munyagala told CongoForum.

It is up to him to add that ETRAMConstruction RDC thinks of giving an opportunity for training in works foreman and control of construction sites from the study to its execution. And also to provide software that can allow young people to develop much better.

Organizing such training is not easy. “Sometimes we don’t have the right materials to give good training. But we are doing everything we can with the means on board. »

The country’s economic situation means that some young people are unable to complete their training. Nevertheless ETRAMConstruction wishes to continue supporting young people.
