Coimbatore: BJP’s National Women’s Leader and Coimbatore MLA Vanathi Srinivasan has praised the film Vikram.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film ‘Vikram’ stars Kamal, Vijay Sethupathi, Surya, Bahad Basil and others. The film released in the theaters on June 3 and reached a collection of 400 crores. The film, which has been well received by the fans, is slated to release on July 8 on Disney Plus Hotstar OTD. In this case, BJP MLA Vanathi Srinivasan praised the film.
In this regard, he said on his Twitter page, “I am once again happy to see you win in the election field. I saw the movie Vikram. Best wishes to continue entertaining people with your artistic work.”
Vanadi Srinivasan won the Coimbatore South constituency in the last assembly elections on behalf of the BJP. Actor Kamal Haasan is among those who competed against him. Coimbatore South Constituency became one of the star assembly constituencies in Tamil Nadu due to their competition. Also, the constituency was busy starting from the election campaign till the counting of votes.
Vanathi eventually defeated Kamal Haasan and became the Coimbatore South Assembly member. Following this, Vanathi posted, “Once again I congratulate you for winning in the election field.”
