Congress foot march for Megha Dadu Dam: Government of Karnataka bans it

Bangalore: Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bombay has announced that the Congress party will ban pilgrimages on foot amid rising corona infections.

He said the construction of a dam in Meghadau was assured and the state government would implement the project related to it.

The 11-day trek on behalf of the Karnataka Congress began on the 10th, urging the construction of the Megha Dadu Dam. Senior Congress leader DK Sivakumar presided over the function.

In this context, the High Court questioned the state government as to why it was allowed to go on foot during the corona epidemic crisis. Following this, the pilgrimage was banned.

Speaking to reporters, Chief Minister Basavaraj said that if there was an issue for the state regarding toys, land and water, all parties would work together. He also said that we will fight together for the state of affairs.
