Bangalore: In the local body elections in Karnataka, the Congress has won by a landslide, beating the ruling BJP.

General elections for 1,185 wards of 58 completed 5 municipalities, 19 city councils and 34 municipalities in Karnataka; Elections were held for 9 wards. Similarly, elections were held for 57 Grama Panchayats.

The registered votes were counted. Chikkamagaluru, Kathak Pettageri, Hepacodi The BJP captured three municipalities with a simple majority.

Congress has won more wards in Hospet and Shira municipalities. Out of a total of 19 town councils, Congress has won the most seats. In the town councils, the BJP has captured Chandapura and the BJP has captured Pita.

Out of the 34 municipalities where elections were held, the Congress won the most seats in 386 seats. BJP Pushed to second place. Independents in 3rd place; Majatha has also been pushed to fourth place.

The Congress has won a landslide victory in 14 of the 23 wards of the Bangapura municipality in Sikkim, the home constituency of Chief Minister Basavaraj Bom. BJP Won by just 7s.
