By linking Amazon Prime to Twitch, you can give out a subscription for free. Does the connection fail? We reveal how it works.
With a “Sub” (subscription) you can support your favorite streamer on Twitch. Normally you pay money for this. Linking Amazon Prime with Twitch gives you a free subscription. The prerequisite is that you are not only an Amazon customer, but also have a Prime subscription. Do you have that? Then you will now find out how to establish the connection.
Amazon Prime offers you various advantages. You can save on Prime Day when shopping, use the streaming service and give away a free subscription to Twitch. The latter only works if you connect your Amazon Prime account to Twitch. Don’t have an Amazon Prime membership yet? Then register for it first. If your Prime subscription is already active, connect your account to Twitch as explained below:
If you want to undo the link, go to the “Twitch Prime” page again. Select the name of your Twitch account at the top left and click “Manage Twitch Accounts”. On the right is the button for account separation.
After you have successfully linked your channel to Amazon Prime, a free subscription is available to you. You can give it to any channel on Twitch that participates in the affiliate program or is a Twitch partner. This is how it works:
You have the opportunity to renew your Prime Sub once a month. It is also possible to favor another channel after a month has passed. You pay for additional subscriptions directly from Twitch; only one sub is available to you via Amazon Prime.
