The crisis in construction has reached the building material manufacturers. According to a sample by the FAZ, more and more roof and brick factories in Germany are stopping production due to the drop in orders. There have been no orders for months, and now the company warehouses are full.

“All six roof tile factories are at a standstill, we shut down the last one at the end of July,” said a spokeswoman for the Swabian manufacturer Creaton. In the previous year, all products for the pitched roof were almost sold out, but now there has been an extreme decline for months.
