Based on the results of the judges’ deliberation meeting, said Suhartoyo, the four ministers who were scheduled to be summoned were the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Muhadjir Effendy, the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, the Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani, and the Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini.

Apart from the four ministers, the Constitutional Court also scheduled a summons for the Honorary Council of Election Organizers.

He emphasized that the summons of the five parties who were categorized as important for the MK to hear their statements was not a form of accommodation to requests from the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md camps.

“Because as is the universal discussion, the judicial body that holds interpartes trials then becomes biased when accommodating evidence requested by one of the parties,” explained Suhartoyo, quoted from ANTARA.
