Construction of the new and modern Rosales National Hospital is progressing with the participation of more than 1,500 members of the Municipal Works Department (DOM) crews.
This group, made up of assistants, bricklayers, carpenters, assemblers, foremen, surveyors, occupational safety personnel, supply logistics and supervisors, is distributed in seven shifts to cover 24 hours of work.
The new hospital to be built will have two basements, four levels for outpatient care and a roof terrace where 87 consulting rooms, 44 procedure rooms, counseling areas and a daycare center for employees’ children, among others, will be built.
To date, among other works, progress is being made on the civil works of basement 1, the main support of the building with 192 concrete columns, 80 internal and 112 perimeter. Work is being carried out on the columns and on the assembly of the support structure.
“The entire floor, which is the dense slab that will support the parking lots, has already been completed. Work is also being done on the perimeter retaining wall,” said the DOM.
