Watan Al-Youm: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, Ayman Al-Safadi, on Monday, made calls to confirm the necessity of launching international action to ensure a halt to the escalation in Gaza and its surroundings.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Al-Safadi continued the talks, which he is holding via phone calls with his counterparts, to stop the dangerous escalation in Gaza and its surroundings, and to stress the necessity of launching international action to ensure stopping the deterioration, protecting civilians, and respecting international humanitarian law.
In his communications, Al-Safadi stressed the need for all regional and international efforts to join forces to stop the escalation, exercise the utmost restraint, and protect civilians, whom all international laws and humanitarian values ​​affirm the necessity of protecting and reject and condemn targeting.
He pointed out that reviving the peace process is the only way to resolve the conflict and achieve a just and lasting peace that guarantees the security and safety of all on the basis of the two-state solution.
