The 18-year-old Frenchman, who caused the NBA to acquire the broadcasting rights of the French league ahead of his expected first-place pick in the 2023 draft, continued in his prime when he led the Paris Metropolitans to a 78:92 victory over Nancy this evening (Saturday) on the way to a 1:8 record, which leaves his team at the top of the French league.

Wombanyama finished the evening with incredible numbers of 30 points (9/19 from the field, 11/16 from the line), 15 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks in 33 minutes. The tall Frenchman is having a simply amazing time when he managed to score at least 30 points for the third game in a row, an especially rare feat in the European basketball leagues and the first to do so before the age of 19.

So far this season in nine games in the French league, he is averaging 23.2 points, 9.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.6 blocks with an average of 26.4 in 32 minutes per night. The 18-year-old leads the French league in average points, rebounds and blocks per game.
