Watan Al-Youm – The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Friday that the dialogue with Israel and the Palestinian Hamas movement regarding the hostages will continue until all detainees are released.
Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman Majid Al-Ansari said that Qatar hopes that the dialogue will lead to “the release of all civilian hostages of all nationalities.”
He stressed that the release of the two American hostages, Judith and Natalie Raanan, from Gaza, came “after many days of continuous contacts” with all parties.
Israel said earlier that Hamas had released two hostages who were kidnapped during the violent attack launched by the movement on towns in southern Israel on October 7.
A statement published by the Prime Minister’s Office on behalf of the Israeli Coordinator for Hostages and Missing Persons, Gal Hirsh, said that Judith and Natalie Raanan were on their way to a military base in central Israel, after Hirsh received them near the Gaza border with army and security forces.
The statement added that they were kidnapped from the “Nahal Oz” residential community near the Gaza fence.
