The 11th stage of the season – Rally of Chile – will take place from September 26 to 29.

At the end of June, Ceska’s crew made their WRC debut, finishing fifth in Rally Poland. In July, in the first ever WRC stage in Latvia, Sesks was seventh, losing his place on the podium only in the last stage.

In Chile, Cesk will sit at the wheel of the “M-Sport Ford Puma Rally1” car with a non-hybrid engine. “Mārtiņš already showed everyone excellent speed and fighting spirit in Poland and Latvia, and we believe that his future in the WRC is extremely bright. Our determination to support young talents is stronger than ever, because the growth of young talents is very important for the further development of the WRC,” the team quotes WRC promoters senior director Peter Tula.

“Of course, it will be quite a challenge to start with a non-hybrid drive car in such a gravel rally and at such an altitude above sea level. This rally is tough and demanding, the conditions are unknown to us, but we love challenges,” said Cesk.

On the other hand, “M-Sport Ford” team manager Richard Millener noted that without previous experience, starting in this difficult rally is not an easy task. “It is a great opportunity for him to show his versatility and further establish himself as a future talent. We hope that this experience will strengthen his ambitions and allow him to become a regular participant in the Rally1 class,” emphasized Millener.

The season will continue with stages in Germany and Japan.
