New Delhi – US billionaire George Soares said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will have to answer the questions raised by foreign investors in Parliament and on the Adani Group issue. The BJP came out with criticism against the remarks made by Soares in his speech at the Munich Security Conference on Thursday.

Soares also said that the Adani controversy will weaken the Narendra Modi government. ‘Modi and Adani are close partners; Their fates are intertwined. Ninety-two-year-old stock investor Soares’ 42-minute long speech spoke about closed and open societies in India. “India is a democracy. But its leader Narendra Modi is not a democrat’ – said Soares.
