There are intense reactions on social media triggered by the show of SKAI “Unmatched” and the commentary of the hosts Giannis Ntsoounos and Christos Koutras on a video of actress Klelia Andrioulatu from her vacation.
In particular, the comment of the show “Unmatched” on the actress’s video was: “Andrioulatu and… plain bread,” with Christos Koutras and Giannis Ntsoounos proceeding with the following commentary that caused strong reactions.
Christos Koutras: “Let’s move on to serious matters now. Ms. Klelia Andrioulatu continues her vacation in the Ionian. Give a little…”
Giannis Ntsoounos: “Well, how many dives did she take? Three or four? There’s also style. I’m curious, where is she? It looks like Ithaca… generally the Ionian… Very nice… You, what, do you like diving so much?”
Christos Koutras: “Yes, yes, the rocks…”
Giannis Ntsoounos: “The rock? The caves there? What? Why haven’t they returned to work?”
“We have finished with Ms. Andrioulatu,” said Giannis Ntsoounos, with Christos Koutras remaining indifferent to the next topic of the show, “Let’s turn to see the Ionian, let’s turn to see the beauties of Greece,” with Klelia Andrioulatu’s video replaying, following the relevant demands of the SKAI hosts.
“What can we notice now Christos?” asked Giannis Ntsoounos, with Christos Koutras responding: “Nothing, man Giannis, can’t you just not talk? Can’t it play on a loop until twelve?”
As expected, the hosts’ attitude has sparked strong reactions on social media.
What the hosts responded
After the scandal that arose, the hosts of SKAI wanted to respond. Specifically, Christos Koutras stated that admiration should not be confused with sexism, emphasizing that the actress is close in age to their children.
“I need to say a word because I can’t hold back. Let’s not confuse admiration with sexism. We read something on a site that accused us – because we don’t understand it either – saying that we are both stupid and sexist at the same time.
I should mention that Ms. Andrioulatu is close in age to Giannis’s older son and close in age to my own son. We are 50-year-old people and whoever thinks that’s something, is foolish. That’s it, period, goodbye.”
“Deep night. Deep night, guys,” Giannis Ntsoounos stated in turn. “Really deep night. To admire something is not bad, because when you write and comment on someone as sexist, you can’t write about the handsome, dark-skinned, tall guy that Emily met in Rome, shame!” added Christos Koutras.
