Controversy Erupts Over Derogatory Remarks Against Actress Trisha

Former AIADMK leader AV Raju was heavily criticized for making derogatory remarks against Tamil actress Trisha. While talking to the media, AIADMK MLAs also mentioned Trisha’s name unnecessarily in a party-related matter. This led to widespread criticism against Raju. Trisha announced on social media on Tuesday that she is filing a complaint against AV Raju in the incident.

Now Nadikar Sangam secretary and actor Vishal has come forward to lash out at Raju. Vishal’s response is to remain anonymous to avoid unnecessary publicity for the culprit.

“I heard that an idiot from a political party spoke very badly about someone from our film industry. I am not mentioning your name or the name of the person you targeted because I know you did it for publicity.

I will definitely not mention names because we are not only good friends but also colleagues in the film fraternity. What you’ve done is so dirty it’s not even worth mentioning. Honestly, I don’t want to condemn you. This is an understatement. I want you to rot in hell.

This statement is made as a human being and not as the General Secretary of the Artists’ Association. Monetizing negative publicity about celebrities has become a trend now. Get a job, great job,” Vishal wrote on X.

Apart from Vishal, actor and director Cheran and director RK Selvamani have also come out in support of Trisha. AV Raju has apologized stating that his statement was misinterpreted and that he never intended to hurt Trisha.
