Independiente del Valle hosted Libertad de Loja in a match valid for matchday 7 of LigaPro 2024 (phase 1).
With a double from Renato Ibarra and a goal from young Kenny Arroyo, Independiente del Valle defeated Libertad 3-0 in a duel that took place at the Banco Guayaquil stadium in Chillo Jijón. With this victory, IDV reached 15 points in the standings, placing itself second to the leader (Aucas).
