In the past few months, the wife of the famous circus director Bernhard Paul (74) has told her daughter Lili (23, “Let’s Dance”) the most delicious Italian family recipes. And according to the motto “Cooking Italian alla Mama”, Lili enthusiastically summarized them in a book (Edition Michael Fischer, 25 euros).

Papa Bernhard raves about the spaghetti Aglio Oli Peperoncino and sister Vivi (32) about the Saltimbocca rolls about Fileto di Vitello con Funghi Panna. Another hit from mom’s kitchen is pasta with caponata, an aubergine, tomato and caper sauce.
In addition, there are plenty of anecdotes from family history in the book and a few recipes from Lili’s circus colleagues. The artist hopes to see them again soon in the ring. Circus Roncalli would like to start again after the Corona break at the latest next year – also in Cologne.
