Manama: Cooking gas leaked at a place where Malayalee expats were staying in Bahrain. The incident took place near Hamad Town Sukh around 6.30 am on Thursday. The Malayalees who were living in the damaged building miraculously escaped.

When one of the residents got up in the morning and flipped the switch, there was an explosion with a loud bang. His right hand was burnt. The blast shattered kitchen and living room doors, window panes and a steel cupboard. The injured youth was admitted to BDF hospital.
