Time.news – Rapper Coolio, famous for his 1995 hit “Gangsta’s Paradise”, died at the age of 59. Tmz reports it. Police sources told the news outlet that the musician was at a friend’s house in Los Angeles and had asked to go to the bathroom. Not seeing him return, the friend then entered the bathroom, finding him lifeless on the ground.
The paramedics who intervened suspect that Artis Leon Ivey Jr., this was his real name, died of cardiac arrest – we read on Tmz – but an official cause of death has not yet been communicated.
