Scotland: Climate change conference agreement to keep global warming below 1.5 degrees Celsius. The summit also said that there was no other way to prevent climate change. The Climate Summit presented a draft resolution proposing that global warming should be kept below 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels. The resolution was introduced by the host country, Britain. The resolution will be officially released if approved by other countries.

The Glasgow summit also called on developed countries to ensure the money promised to curb climate change. It is also proposed to waive concessions on fossil fuels, including coal. Countries including India had expressed opposition to this. The two-week-long climate summit is over. Environmentalists say the summit did not make the expected progress.
