UEFA has decided on the venue and date for the Argentina-Italy clash that football fans around the world have been waiting for. The Copa Amrica champions Argentina will take on Euro Cup champions Italy on June 1 at 1:15 pm Indian time. The match will be played at Wembley Stadium in London.

The match between the Copa-Euro champions comes 29 years later. The match, now known as ‘Finalism’, is based on an agreement reached between the Latin American Football Confederation, Combo, and the European Football Association, UEFA.
