Maycon, Yuri Alberto e Pedro Raul scored the goals for Timão, who continues to dream of qualifying for the quarter-finals. Bruno Michel e Lohan scored for the ABC team.

With the result, António Oliveira’s team reached the 13 points in 4th place in group D, one less than Inter de Limeira (2nd) and Mirassol (3rd), who are still playing in the round.
If Inter de Limeira or Mirassol win, Corinthians will be mathematically eliminated and will not compete in the State knockout stage.
Red Bull Bragantino leads the group with 18 and will still take to the field to face Santos this Sunday.

The game
Corinthians were superior for much of the first half and even opened the scoring after 15 minutes with Yuri Alberto, after a pass from Raniele. The goal, however, was disallowed by VAR as the ball bounced off the center forward’s arm.
Despite this, Timão continued on top, without giving their opponent a chance. Until at 32, Fagner threw the ball just enough for Maycon to hit the goalkeeper and make it 1-0 for the black and white team.
However, Santo André came back better in the 2nd half and almost tied at 7, when Bruno Michel hit the ball, Cássio stretched out and slapped the ball, which still touched the crossbar before leaving the end line.
Little by little, Corinthians entered the match again. At 22, Yuri Alberto came face to face with the goalkeeper, but Luiz Daniel got the better of him and made the save. Afterwards, Fausto Vera even removed paint from the beam.
After putting so much pressure on, Timão scored the 2nd goal. This time, Yuri Alberto didn’t waste anything and, straight away, increased the home team’s advantage.
Santo André scored with Bruno Michel at 34, after a corner kick. And there was still time for a draw.
At 41, Geovane hit, the ball deflected off Pedro Henrique and it was up to Lohan to leave everything the same for Ramalhão.
But in the end, Pedro Raul scored the goal that kept Corinthians alive in Paulistão.
