Chicago has most share prices on the rise with an eye on the weather

Corn futures prices expanded their negative movements on the Brazilian Stock Exchange (B3) throughout this Monday (26). The main quotes fluctuated in the range between R$56.15 and R$65.48 around 1:07 pm (Brasília time).

The July/23 maturity was quoted at R$56.15 with a drop of 0.07%, the September/23 was worth R$59.22 with a loss of 1.15%, the November/23 was traded for R$62, 38 with a devaluation of 1.25% and January/24 had a value of R$ 65.48 with a decrease of 1.04%.

Foreign Market

The Chicago Stock Exchange (CBOT) gained strength on Monday, but international corn futures prices were still in a mixed field around 1:01 pm (Brasília time).

The July/23 maturity was quoted at US$ 6.45 with an appreciation of 14.25 points, the September/23 was worth R$ 5.84 with a decrease of 0.50 points, the December/23 was negotiated for R$ 5, 89 with a high of 1.50 points and March/24 had a value of US$ 5.97 with a gain of 1.25 points.

“Grains started trading lower on Sunday night due to ample rain cover, but now this morning, grains are positive as the finer details are being watched. The heavy rains didn’t reach the places that needed it the most”, said Naomi Blohm, senior market consultant at Total Farm Marketing, in information reported by the international website Successful Farming.
