Cornerstone Laid for Chabad School in Afula: A Night of Redemption

Last night, the 13th of Tammuz, the holiday of redemption, a powerful ceremony was held in which the cornerstone was laid for a Chabad school in the city of Afula with the participation of hundreds of community families.

After years of difficulties and bureaucracy, the event was officially held today in the organization of the municipality under the leadership of the mayor Mr Avi Alkabatz. With the participation of all members of the city council, public figures, and rabbis.

The rabbi Shmulik Jankowitz began with the story of the miracle of salvation of the KK Rebbe and covered the Rebbe’s visit to the city of Afula in his first visit to the Holy Land about two years after his imprisonment.

After the gathering, the official ceremony for the laying of the cornerstone took place with the participation of business figures and members of the city council and the National Assembly who started with a Hasidic dance out of joy and sat down for a Hasidic meeting.
