The state health department has released information regarding the corona virus in Tamil Nadu.
Accordingly, corona infection has been confirmed in 739 people in Tamil Nadu today. This brings the total number of corona confirmed persons in the state to 27 lakh 23 thousand 245.
According to the health department, 8,442 people are currently receiving treatment for corona in Tamil Nadu. 1,01,738 corona samples were tested in the last 24 hours.
Of those infected today, 764 were discharged after treatment on the same day. Thus the total number of people recovering from corona in Tamil Nadu has increased to 26 lakh 78 thousand 371.
Yet 17 people have died in a single day today from the virus attack. As a result, the death toll from the virus in Tamil Nadu has risen to 36,432.
