Corona for seven Sri Lankan women cricketers who went to Zimbabwe

Seven members of the Sri Lanka women’s cricket team have been diagnosed with Covit, according to the Sri Lanka Cricket.

Covid infection has been confirmed in athletes as they travel to Zimbabwe to qualify for the Women’s Cricket World Cup.

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) CEO Ashley de Silva has said that the International Cricket Council (ICC) is currently in talks with airlines to book a flight for the Sri Lankan women’s cricket team.

Ashley de Silva added that the female officer and athlete affected by the cove would still have to stay in Zimbabwe.
