The state health department has directed the district authorities to intensify corona testing in Mumbai as the incidence of corona is increasing.
Corona exposure has started to increase again in a few parts of the country. A total of 1,134 people were diagnosed with corona in Mumbai yesterday (Friday). Of these, 763 were in Mumbai.
The state health department has asked district and civil authorities to expedite corona testing as the incidence of corona increases.
Pradeep Vyas, Additional Chief Secretary, State Health Department, said, “Authorities should ensure that the rate of RT-PCR testing is reduced in all districts.
People should be advised to wear face masks in closed public places such as trains, buses, theaters, auditoriums, offices, hospitals, colleges and schools.
