Dubai: After overcoming the Corona crisis, Dubai International Airport has regained its old glory. As the holiday season is coming to an end, the airport is now experiencing heavy traffic. From next month, preparations are also underway to receive tourists in anticipation of favorable weather conditions. The Dubai airport has almost returned to its original state after the threat of corona virus was removed.

In the three months of the second quarter of this year, 1.42 crore passengers passed through Dubai Airport. Compared to the same period last year, the increase is 191 percent. Figures show that the growth in the months from April to June has been increasing even though one of the runways at the airport had to be closed for 45 days for renovation work.

Dubai Airports Chief Executive Paul Griffiths said that he was able to maintain the quality of customer service while successfully overcoming Corona. The number of passengers has almost doubled compared to the number of passengers in the first six months of last year.

In the six months to June this year, 2.79 crore passengers used the airport. Last week, Dubai Airport received an international award for designing the workplace in the best way during the Corona crisis.
