Chennai: The Department of Public Health has said that ‘coronary examination will no longer be mandatory for those coming to Tamil Nadu from abroad’.

In this regard, the Director of Public Health Selvavinayakam sent a circular: Those coming to Tamil Nadu from abroad, before traveling, on the ‘Air Suvidha’ website, to register their self-signature. They have to inform their travel details 14 days before coming to Tamil Nadu. Similarly, it is necessary to upload the corona test certificate taken within 72 hours.

Evidence of proper payment of vaccines should also be attached. If fake evidence is uploaded, criminal action will be taken. Meanwhile, routine preventive measures will be followed. Those with symptoms will be isolated and subjected to corona examination. In particular, corona tests are performed on 2 percent of people.
