Many people attended the corona vaccination camp held in Theni district

Considering that the vaccine is the only weapon to control the corona infection, the Corona vaccine vaccination drive is being expedited across the state.
10,355 vaccines were administered through the 25th giant corona vaccination camps held at 366 locations in Theni district yesterday.
As many as 14,33,178 corona vaccines have been given to people over 18 in Theni district till yesterday. Of these, 7,96,212 were vaccinated in the first installment and 6,29,002 in the second installment.
Similarly, 89,648 vaccinations were given to school children between the ages of 15 and 18. Of these, 51,935 were vaccinated in the first installment and 37,713 in the second installment.
The first batch of 17,973 vaccines were given to students between the ages of 12 and 14.
Collector Muralitharan said that the public and school children below the age of majority should be given the corona vaccine and give full cooperation to the corona disease prevention activities.
