Corona vaccine for 90% of people in Puduvai: First Rangasamy-Dinamani

Puducherry: 90 per cent people in Puducherry have been vaccinated against corona, Chief Minister N. Rangasamy said.

About 50 thousand children and students between the ages of 12 and 14 in the state of Puduvai are to be vaccinated against the corona vaccine (Copivax). For this, vaccines have been obtained from the Central Government and sent to all areas and work is underway.

Accordingly, N. Rangasamy inaugurated the camp held at Indira Gandhi Government Girls’ High School, Pondicherry on Wednesday. Ava later told reporters:

In the state of Puduvai so far 90 per cent of the people have been vaccinated against corona. The first dose was given to students 15 to 18 years of age. Steps are being taken to vaccinate them for the second time.
