With version number 2.5, those responsible for the Corona Warning app not only adjust errors and external features. The app is given a central function that many are eagerly waiting for who have so far been left with nothing.
For a few weeks it has been possible for those who have been completely vaccinated to have a certificate issued. A vaccination certificate, which can also be stored digitally, in the “CovPass” app and also in the “Corona warning app.” But only those who had received two vaccinations or were fully vaccinated with the respective vaccine had the option.
Over 3.6 million people have been loud Federal government in Germany already got a corona disease and only get one vaccination. So you lacked the necessary second code.

Now, however, those who have recovered can also have the necessary documents issued with the QR code with proof of one vaccination (recovery certificate). Depending on where you live, you can go to your doctor, vaccination center or pharmacy.
Scanning is easy. You will receive a printout on which a square code with a pattern is clearly visible – the QR code.
The certificate itself is in turn a QR code that can be read in by other bodies (e.g. when traveling)
In the Corona warning app, go to the “Certificates” tab, where you will receive a brief introduction and explanation. Under “Add Certificate”, a tip on “Next” will open the camera and you only have to get the code in the center of the display. The rest is automatic.
Incidentally, it is also new that you can now manage certificates from family members in one app.
