I am 5.905 the new cases of positivity al coronavirus identified in Italy on Thursday 4 November, the result of 514,629 swabs molecular and antigenic carried out in the last 24 hours. The rate of positivity is at1,1%, up slightly from 0.7% yesterday. According to data from the Ministry of Health, they are instead 59 i dead in one day (yesterday 63). Compared to a week ago, the number of infections is still growing: they are over a thousand more. The hospitalizations in medical area, while the number of new entries in intensive care in comparison with last Thursday.
I hospitalized with symptoms in ordinary departments are 3.045, that is to say 16 more compared to yesterday. I am instead 383 patients in intensive care in Italy, 2 more compared to yesterday in the balance between income and expenses. Daily admissions are 36. The currently positive at Covid in Italy are 87.376, 2,089 more in the last 24 hours. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the total cases are 4,788,704, the deaths 132,283. The discharged and healed are instead 4,569,045, with an increase of 3,754 compared to yesterday.
Last Thursday cone a greater number of pads (570mil) there were 4,866 cases in 24 hours, against the 5,905 reported today. Widening our gaze to the weekly comparison, however, we notice how the growth of infections is braking: 16,745 from Monday to today against 16,053 the previous week. In the meantime, however, the pressure on hospitals continues to increase: this week there are 291 more Covid patients in the medical area. Also the trend of new entrants in intensive care is growing: it is stable today compared to last Thursday, but if we consider the first 4 days of the week we arrive at 134 against 112. Similarly, deaths increase slightly: they are 183 from Monday to today.
At the regional level, the situations of greatest concern are those of Friuli Venezia Giulia – who saw the cases daily triple from 153 yesterday to 483 recorded in the last 24 hours – and of the Province of Bolzano that still communicates 225 new infections, a very high number for a population of just over half a million inhabitants. On alert there is also the Veneto: 734 positives were registered today. Only slightly lower than that of the Lombardy (745) which however has a population more than double. They follow the Lazio with 664 infections in one day and the Campania with 615 cases. Other 8 Regions register new cases in triple figures: Tuscany (385), Sicily (372), Emilia Romagna (328), Piedmont (286), Puglia (224), Calabria (179), Walk (159) e Abruzzo (128).
