The weekly monitoring places the Valley in the type 2 scenario. Monday turns orange

AOSTA. The Covid-19 regional monitoring by the Ministry of Health and the Istituto Superiore di Sanita confirms the general worsening of the pandemic situation in the Aosta Valley, which will change from yellow to orange due to the new decree-law approved by the CDM.

In the Valle d’Aosta area, the Rt index rises to 1.4 (it was 1.21 the previous week), remaining however below 1 in the lowest indicator (the range is from 0.8 to 1.25). The incidence went from 60.78 to 74.38 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants.

The risk assessment for the Valley passes to “moderate” (in the previous monitoring it was “moderate with high probability of progression”) but the scenario evolves from that of type 1 to that of type 2 which corresponds to a situation of sustained transmissibility and widespread “but still manageable in the medium-short term by the health system.

From Monday, however, the decree-law on the containment measures of Covid-19 approved today by the CDM will come into force. The provision provides for the automatic application of the orange zone in the yellow areas from March 15th to April 6th. At Easter, from 3 to 5 April, the red zone will start for the Aosta Valley and for all of Italy (only any white zones are excluded).

As for travel, from 15 March to 2 April and 6 April it will be possible to go to other private homes only once a day, between 5.00 and 22.00, remaining within the same municipality. A maximum of two people can be moved, who will in any case be able to take children under 14 with them and people with disabilities or non self-sufficient living together.

On 3, 4 and 5 April, travel to other private homes will be possible only once a day, between 5.00 and 22.00, remaining within the same Region.
