Coronavirus, the latest news from Italy and the world on Covid-

The Moscow authorities plan to lift the ban on organizing mass events imposed to contain the infections of Covid-19 by the end of April so as to be able to organize the gathering of the immortal regiment and the Victory Parade on 9 May. The news, which appeared in the daily Rbk, would have been provided by sources close to the presidential administration. For now, we assume that the march will take place as usual, but final decisions will be made as we approach this date and based on the epidemiological situation, one of the sources said. The Rbk source also said that on April 26 Moscow could host an Orthodox Easter festival with mass celebrations.

8.00 – AstraZeneca, US study rate revised downwards

The company also stressed that its vaccine was 100% effective in preventing severe Covid-19 cases, as previously announced. AstraZeneca pledged on Tuesday to provide recent data within 48 hours to US health authorities, who had criticized the outdated data on its Covid vaccine.
