9.43 am – Nine out of ten Italian students risk Dad
In the coming days, 9 out of 10 Italian students (90.1%) of the 8.5 million pupils enrolled in state and private schools risk ending up in distance learning because of the new Dpcm. The data is from an analysis by Tuttoscuola and the Gimbe Foundation. This would involve 7.6 million children who would remain at home under the new provision which provides for the closure of schools in areas with more than 250 weekly infections per 100 thousand inhabitants. Veneto, Piedmont, Lazio and Fvg could be the next Regions to completely close schools.
