A local Civil Protection ambulance arrived at the scene, on the road to Las Minas and El Contenedor, but paramedics confirmed that there was nothing they could do for the individual, who was lying face up.
State and municipal police cordoned off the crime scene. According to an official source, none of the residents of the housing complex came forward to claim the body.
The homicide department will be investigating the events in the coming days. The forensic team transferred the remains to the Institute of Forensic Services for identification and analysis.
