(ANSA) – ROME, MAY 13 – After the extraordinary international success among audiences and critics of C’è Ancora Domani, Paola Cortellesi returns to the set for the first time for the filming of the third season of Petra which begins on May 13th in Genoa. The inevitable Andrea Pennacchi also returns with her in the role of deputy inspector Antonio Monte. Petra Delicato returns to action with two new Sky Original stories – produced by Sky and Cattleya – part of ITV Studios – in collaboration with Beta Film and the Ministry of Culture – Directorate General for Cinema and Audiovisual – directed by Maria Sole Tognazzi. The two new stories of this third season are written by Giulia Calenda, Furio Andreotti, Ilaria Macchia with the collaboration of Paola Cortellesi on the screenplays and taken from the works of Alicia Giménez-Bartlett – The silence of the cloisters and The honors of the house – both published in Italy from Sellerio. In this third season we find a new Petra Delicato, immersed in a family situation in which we could hardly have imagined her. However, the news of her private life certainly does not prevent her from dedicating herself to her work as a police inspector in Genoa. Before her, a murder with theft of a relic inside a convent, then the murder of an important entrepreneur with a mafia smack, will lead Petra and her inseparable deputy inspector Antonio Monte to test themselves once again. Between new meetings, professional trips and old acquaintances, Petra will find herself wondering about her future and what the next stage of her very personal search for happiness could be. Filming in Genoa will be carried out with the support of the Genoa-Liguria Film Commission. (HANDLE).
