Former minister Jayakumar has filed a petition in the Chennai High Court seeking bail in a land grab case.

DMK alleges fraudulent driving in 49th ward of Chennai Corporation Pramukar Naresh was attacked. In this case, the AIADMK. Former minister Jayakumar has been arrested and jailed. He was also arrested in the second case for road blockade and in the third case for embezzling Rs 5 crore worth of factories.

Jayakumar filed a petition in the Chengalpattu District Sessions Court seeking bail in the land grab case. The hearing on the petition was held yesterday. Judge Mavis Deepika Sundaravathana then dismissed Jayakumar’s bail application. Following this, Jayakumar has filed a bail petition in the Chennai I Court.

DMK to field former minister Jayakumar Bail has been granted in the case of assaulting a person and being involved in a road blockade. But he had trouble getting out of jail as his bail petition was dismissed in a land grab case.
